Adam Gorski brings over 25 years of Business and Information Technology professional experience. He currently serves as a General Manager of Information Technology and Digital Transformation at The Timken Company, a $3.6 Billion global manufacturer of Bearings and Power Transmission components, located in North Canton, Ohio.  

Prior to his current role, he served as a Global Vice President of Information Technology (CIO) at Platform Specialty Products (formerly Alent, Inc. and Cookson Electronics) between 2007 and 2017 ($4 Billion company with over 200 locations throughout the world). A key player in M&A analysis, due diligent, planning, and executing the M&A strategy. In addition to the M&A work, he created a 5-Year IT Strategic Plan and aligned the IT with business goals and objectives.  

Prior to joining Platform Specialty Products he served as:
·        Vice President and CIO at Latex International, a Connecticut based company manufacturing high end latex foam mattresses and pillows from 2005 to 2007. Responsibility varied from strategic and tactical IT activities to manufacturing process automation and improvements, and M&A.
·        Director and CIO at Inline Plastics Corp., a Connecticut based company manufacturing plastic packaging for the food industry from 2000 to 2005. In addition to his IT responsibilities he was also responsible for the NextGen packaging product development project for the Produce market while managing the Customer Service and National Distribution and Logistics functions. Instrumental in M&A search and analysis.
·        Various position at Stanley Black & Decker based in New Britain, CT from 1990 to 2000. His last position was the Global IT Manager. The last assignment was a $15 Million Y2K project to remediate over 8,000 PCs, Servers, and other network systems and devices in 214 locations worldwide. He completed the project 6 months before the due date and 30% below the budget. Was responsible for the global infrastructure and vendor management. Key contributor to M&A.   

Has earned his Ph.D. in Management with Information Technology concentration in Digital and Transformational Technologies from Walden University, MBA Degree in Strategic Management and Finance from the University of Hartford, and the Bachelor of Science Degree in International Management and Information Technology from Central Connecticut State University.

·        Passion for Digital and Transformational Technologies researching both topics to make it easier for customers to do business with the company.
·        A few decades of professional experience in the data analytics area and continuously researches new methodologies to provide mission critical information from any place, on any device, at any time.
·        Professional success is accredited to his expertise in Strategic Planning, Business Alignment, and Execution. He has mastered them over the last two decades as the Chief Information Officer with several global companies.  

Board Assignments:

·        Serves on the Board of Directors as the First Vice President for the Polish-American Foundation that promotes history and culture of immigrants into the United States from any country.
