George Slogik joined The Lincoln Electric Company in 1998 to assist with the global launch of SAP ERP across key business operations. Since then he has assumed increasing levels of responsibility within Information Technology taking on key management roles in Systems Development and Infrastructure Services. He is currently responsible for partnering with global business leaders to advance the digitization of Lincoln’s business by providing a structured approach to the development of new technologies in the areas of customer relationship management, e-commerce, digital marketing, product technology, IoT and data analytics. Prior to Lincoln Electric, George held Information Technology positions at Ford Motor Company and as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force.
George currently serves as Board
President of the Cleveland chapter of SIM (Society for Information Management).
his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Kent State University and Masters
of Business Administration from Wayne State University.
He is also a graduate
of Thunderbird School of Global Management International Business Development
