Tom is EVP Global Claims CIO at Chubb, the world’s largest publicly traded P&C insurer, with operations in 54 countries and territories. At Chubb, Tom is responsible for Claims technology, ranging from core platforms to digital innovation. Tom and his team are focused on platform consolidation, improving claims handler productivity, claims analytics, development of a new micro-services platform and customer self-service.
Prior to working at Chubb, Tom was the CIO at National Life
Group, the fastest growing major life insurer in the U.S. He has also served in
executive software development roles at USAA and Bloomberg. He began his career
in Silicon Valley, working on programming tools product development for IBM and
Oracle. Tom has degrees from Carnegie Mellon and University of San Francisco.
He lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife, two children, three dogs
and a cat. His hobbies include power lifting and stoic philosophy.
