Larry is the CEO of Give and Take Inc., joining the founding team in the summer of 2017.  Give and Take Inc was founded by Wayne Baker (Professor at University of Michigan), Cheryl Baker (Social Scientist and creator of the Reciprocity Ring) and Adam Grant (Professor at Wharton and author of 3 best-selling books, including Give and Take).   

Give and Take Inc. builds software that helps you build a culture of generosity, which leads to better engagement and productivity, all in less than five minutes a day.  We apply the concepts of generalized reciprocity in an accessible, scalable way through our Givitas platform and Reciprocity Ring exercise.  Give and Take is rooted in cutting-edge academic research showing that a giving culture leads to positive business outcomes like increased, efficiency, productivity, loyalty and engagement.

Larry’s background includes being the co-founder and CEO of ForeSee, the leader in customer experience analytics.  He led the company from inception (2001) to successful exit in 2013, returning over 22 times the capital invested in the business while also growing revenue every quarter since the company was founded.  While at ForeSee, Larry worked with many of the leading companies of the Fortune 500 and was a frequent speaker at many industry events. 

After the exit at ForeSee, Larry founded 2nd Stage Partners where he advised, mentored and consulted with early stage and growth stage technology companies.  He also served on the board of directors of various tech companies and is currently on the University of Michigan Technology Transfer National Advisory Board and the Wolverine Venture Fund Advisory Board.

Earlier in his career, Larry also had executive leadership roles at Compuware (Vice President) and Bank One (CTO). 

Larry has authored two books, Managing Forward and Innovating Analytics
