Robert Sheesley, CIO, The Wrench Group, has twenty-five plus years of business and technology strategy and transformation experience in a variety of industries. In his role as CIO Rob is responsible for the information, technology and computer systems enabling and supporting The Wrench Group’s enterprise goals, including driving efficiencies achieved by harmonizing business applications, infrastructure, and technology support processes.  He is responsible for driving technology innovation, adoption and use across the enterprise to support data-driven strategies, information-based decision making, and the application of standards, as practical without impacting autonomous business practices, to create an advanced technology platform that enables competitive advantage and drives organic and transactional growth. Rob oversees all technology and systems functions for The Wrench Group and its business units, including management of technology budgets, infrastructure planning and management, technology vendor relationships and services, and The Wrench Group Information and Technology Integration Program.

Throughout his career Rob has helped Fortune 500 and middle-market companies with operational improvements, ERP system implementations, pre-transaction due diligence, and post-transaction integration, and had provided CIO Advisory and Program Management Office expertise across multiple services offerings.   Recently Rob led the concept to value delivery of a start-up Global Enterprise Architecture practice for a Mylan, a $10B global pharmaceutical company. 
Other leadership roles include Director of Strategic Technology Optimization at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and Program Director at HEALTHeLINK™, western New York’s Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO), Director, Health and Life Science Solutions with Syndicus, Inc., CIO Advisory Services Practice Lead for West Monroe Partners, Information Technology Central Region Lead for Alvarez and Marsal Business Consulting, and Director Claim Technology for CNA Financial. 

A United States Marine and Operation Desert Storm Veteran, Rob is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania, member of PA REGION 13 Counter-Terrorism Task Force, and President of the board of HIMSS Central Pennsylvania Chapter.  He previously served as a board member of The 20/30 Club of Chicago, a men’s philanthropic organization serving Chicago children’s charities including Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, and Horizons For Youth, member of the Board of Directors of Access Community Health Network, Chicago's largest private health care provider to the under-served and the nation's largest community health center, and President of the Board of Directors, HIMSS Western Pennsylvania Chapter.   Rob holds a Masters Degree of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science Degree of Communications from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.  He is a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Engineers School and U.S. Navy Logistics and Embarkation School, and holds a Business Architect Certification (CBA®) from Business Architecture Guild, and an Enterprise Architecture Certification and Cyber Security Leadership Certification from Carnegie Mellon University.
