For CISOs, these tools can blur the line between truth and deception, challenging traditional security measures and intensifying the need for innovative defenses.

Shawnee Delaney is a decorated intelligence officer and a licensed private investigator who has spent part of her career within the Defense Intelligence Agency as a Clandestine Officer conducting Human Intelligence operations around the world, including four warzone tours. Ms. Delaney has also supported the Department of Homeland Security, defending critical infrastructure and industrial control systems within the U.S. She is now the CEO of Vaillance Group, and an educator in the Insider Threat and cybersecurity industry.

Anna Naughton

vCISO | Information Technology, Fortium Partners

Anna is currently the virtual and fractional Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for several companies, including non-profit, financial, health care, entertainment, Professional Employer Organization (PEO), and Commercial Landscape Company. She also serves as Partner with Fortium Partners and as a Senior Advisor to M&A Partners. She has over 20 years of C-level experience as a security and privacy consultant, strategist, and systems implementer for large institutions in the financial services, insurance, health care, and pharmaceutical sectors.

As CSO/CPO for Sammons Financial Group, she was responsible for the company’s information security, privacy assurance strategy, architecture, and global oversight, including mainframe, distributed, and infrastructure-based systems.

Anna routinely consults with CEOs, CFOs, and Board Directors / Audit Committees on cybersecurity issues and strategies. Her consulting practice includes a diverse range of cybersecurity and M&A initiatives, including due diligence/risk mitigation; establishing comprehensive security and privacy programs for data loss prevention; GDPR Compliance; NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks with CIS Critical Security Controls; SOC II Type II attestation audits for Customer Engagement Assurance; secure coding practices for developers; establishing key information technology processes;  plus, vendor security due diligence, web security, identity access and access management, security controls, privacy education and threat awareness, among other elements.

Through her nonprofit work, Anna has supported thousands of injured men and women of our Armed Forces serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world.

She is also the mom of a Marine and a soldier who have both proudly served our country.

Devin Shirley

CISO, Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield

Devin has a 25 year career in information technology and security.  He graduated West Point in 1996 after which served five years in the U.S. Army, where, he was responsible for implementing and maintaining all information security and technology capabilities .  After his time in the Army, he took a position as IT Manager at Triquint Semiconductor in Dallas, TX, then later returned to his home state of Arkansas.  In Arkansas, Devin has worked in telecom support at a local hospital before working at Alltel Wireless and later at Windstream Communications.  Devin then moved to Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield (ABCBS) in 2016, where he became the Director of Enterprise Information Security, and was later designated as the Chief Information Security Officer.  In his spare time, Devin trains in and teaches the Krav Maga self-defense system.   

Todd Smith

SVP, Director of Customer IAM, Ameris Bank

Todd Smith is the Customer IAM Director at Ameris Bank, where he plays a pivotal role in managing and securing customer identity and access management. With a strong background in information security, Todd reports directly to Jorge Perez, the Corporate Information Security Officer. His expertise and leadership have been instrumental in driving the bank's security initiatives and ensuring the protection of sensitive customer information. Todd's collaborative approach and dedication to excellence make him a valuable asset to the organization.
